Art Books: A Labor of Love
Curating and editing written and visual art to explore themes within the human experience. Between the years 2013 to 2015, I self-published and printed three art books. Below are 2/3.

Book One
Printed September 2013
It all started with this need to create a different kind of visual content. I assembled a small team of creative individuals who wanted to share their stories. I edited written content and guide visual artists.
There were so many challenges such as working with a non existent budget (my paycheck) and organizing the content. I learned that there was a genuine need for a book such as this and this inspired the release of two more.

Book Three
Book 3: Printed January 2015
This book explored how music releases us from tyranny. This was the last book I would release. There were plans and content to deliver the second part of this theme. However, in retrospect, I am glad that I ended it here.
When working on a small and tight budget, juggling your obligations along with those to your team members and to the craft, it is easy to burn out. I am proud of the efforts and the most difficult lesson was to let go of the project that could have been.
Today, I would approach this with more patience and appreciation.
